新型インフルエンザ対策において国立保健医療科学院に期待すること ─保健所の立場から─

保健所は新型インフルエンザ発生の準備を行うとともに，新型インフルエンザ（H１N１）発生後は発熱相談センターの設置や患者の発熱外来への紹介を行っている．全国保健所長会は新型インフルエンザの対応マニュアル作成を行ったが，今後国の研究班に協力して保健所を対象とする新型インフルエンザについての調査を行う予定である．
国立保健医療科学院では，保健所で新型インフルエンザなどの感染症管理に従事する人材育成に有用となるよう，研修，研究，e- ラーニング教材開発，H-CRISISと呼ばれるウェブ上の情報提供，国際交流活動を行っている．一部の保健所はこのような国立保健医療科学院の事業に協力している．今後国立保健医療科学が，健康危機管理に従事する人材の育成機能をさらに充実することを期待している．

Abstract
Public health centers in Japan are preparing for an influenza pandemic. Since the novel influenza A（H1N1）outbreak, they have established fever consultation centers, and are directing patients to fever clinics. The Japanese Association of Public Health Centers Directors has prepared a manual for pandemic influenza management, and is scheduled, together with a national research team, to investigate the responses of public health centers to the novel influenza A（H1N1）outbreak.
The National Institute of Public Health implements education and research, develops e-learning materials, provides information on a website called H-CRISIS, and promotes international cooperation. These activities are useful for training persons in public health centers who are engaged in the control of infectious diseases such as influenza pandemics. Some public health centers collaborate with the National Institute of Public Health in these activities. Further NIPH support is anticipated in the future for the training of personnel engaged in health crisis management.
